Ten on Tuesday #9-10 Favorite Horror Movies

I am finally able to breathe a bit, so hopefully I can stay up with my blog posts.

1. When Darkness Falls-I think this plays on the fact it always scared me that the Tooth Fairy was able to get in my room and get under my pillow without waking me up!

2. The Messengers

3. The Hills Have Eyes

4. Saw - Sorry they lost me after the first one, some things are better to not have sequels.

5. Hostel

6. Final Destination - Once again after the first one they lost me.

7. 1408

8. Halloween

9. Carrie

10. Exorcist - Even though I watched this with my eyes closed half the time!!!

I'm glad that you feel a bit better :-)

Terrorific list! Funny enough, we didn't know about "Hostel" at all until one evening when we just had booked our trip to Bratislava - and we were going to stay at a Hostel there!!!! The same evening hubby saw the movie Hostel, which actually is supposed to be from there. I'm glad that I didn't see it, then I might have cancelled the trip!

But I can confirm that it weren't that dangerous there, we didn't get slaughtered obviously.... *giggles*

...but we only stayed there for one night since we were going from there to Vienna.

I remember watching "Carrie" with Carol M. and I had to walk home after watching it! I was so freakin' scared I don't think my feet ever hit the ground! I kept waiting for that hand to reach out and grab me!! LOL

Halloween is only scary when someone is outside pretending to be Michael Meyers!!! ROFLOL

I agree with your thought about the Saw franchise. I actually prefer to watch the first two of the series. I feel that the movies after the two seems predictable. But still, I managed to be thrilled with the 3rd and the 4th. I guess not bad at all though. I'm still hoping my time allows me to watch the 5th in theater. Maybe I'm just a horror fan or just curious to all movies especially horror.

Right now, I'm watching Prey, which seems a nice one.

BTW guys, I would like to recommend House by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti. It'll be in theaters this coming November 7. It has a lot of recommendations so far from the blogosphere, so I'm recommending it too to you all. Check out their official website, housethemovie.net. There's a list of cities where the House will be shown in its premiere.

The Hills Have Eyes entertained me too. I think it's a remake of a classic film (am I right?). I loved Hostel 1 & 2 as well as other Tarantino's film.

That's all my thoughts for now.. Happy Halloween guys!
